Career
When, in 1986, Boris was completing his higher studies from Balliol college, he was chosen as the President of Oxford Union Society. After completing his studies, he joined The Times Newspaper. The following year he also joined The Spectator, a political and cultural magazine, as an editor.
In year 2001, Boris was elected as a Member of Parliament for Henley constituency. In 2008, he contested elections for becoming London Mayor and as a result he served the timeline till 2016.
He also launched several campaigns for alcohol consumption in public transport and Thames Cable Car Project after becoming the Mayor.
The year 2015 saw him coming down from the position of Mayor and joining the Parliament again by becoming the MP for South Ruislip and Uxbridge.
