Chandan Shetty completed his education from his hometown. He attended Rotary School, Sakleshpur, Karnataka for schooling.

Career
Chandan started off his career with the movie Alemari. He entered as the musician in 2012 and provided lyrics for songs in the movie. After a successful movie, Chandan got many offers in the Kannadian music industry.
