Career
Darren Till started his career in Brazil, where he spent most of the time during the initial stage of his career under the guidance of the Astra Fight Team. He won 3-0 in an amateur match in England after which he moved to South America.
Till turned professional in February 2013. Before he joined UFC, Till participated in 11 fights in Brazil and 1 in Argentina, while two of them went to a decision.
Till performed 8 times as a middleweight before he competed at welterweight in the later part of 2014. Till soon joined Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in 2015 where he faced Brazilian Wendell de Oliveira Marques in his UFC debut on a nine days’ notice at UFC Fight Night 67 on 30 May 2015.
Till earned his first UFC win after he knocked out Oliviera. Nicolas Dalby was the next person that Till faced on 24 October 2015 at UFC Fight Night 76. It was a back and forth fight and the bout was scored a majority draw. Both of them were awarded the Fight of the Night bonus.
