He enjoyed some of his childhood in West Plains and was raised in Danville, Vermilion County, Illinois and is currently living in Malibu, California.

Van Dyke has the white ethnic background and English, Irish, and Scottish ancestry who has the citizenship of the United States. He was born under the cycle of Sagittarius and put his holy fondness in Christian religion. Van Dyke kicked off his academics by enrolling in the native junior school in Danville for maiden schooling and started attending a native intermediate school in Danville for supplementary education.

After that, he joined a public high school located in Danville named Danville High School (DHS) where he was among the participants in  a cappella choir and dramatic club, and received his high school diploma in 2004. Additionally, he left the school to join the United States Army Air Forces for pilot training during World War II, which delayed his graduation.
