Elisabeth Clara Heath-Sladen, popularly known as Elisabeth Sladen was a British who was a popular English actress by profession. She is best known as Sarah Jane Smith in the British television series Doctor Who, where she appeared as a regular cast member from 1973 to 1976.
Elisabeth Sladen resurfaced in the 2000s with several Doctor Who appearances, culminating in a regular main role in The Sarah Jane Adventures. The program was nominated for a Royal Television Society Award for Best Children’s Drama in 2010.
