He is best known for portraying the role of Kartik Goenka in Star Plus’s television series ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ opposite Shivangi Joshi. He has also portrayed another famous character of Ritesh in another Star Plus show called ‘Nisha aur uske cousins’ (2014).

Mohsin Khan started working in the Indian television industry while he was still in college. He did various advertisements, cameos, parallel leads while pursuing his graduation. When he was 18 years old, he featured in an advertisement for Ceat tyres and earned his first paycheck for Rs 10,000.
He started his career as an assistant director in a Bollywood film titled ‘Koylaanchal’. The film starred Vinod Khanna and Sunil Shetty.
He then starred in a Tv serial called ‘Love by Chance’ in 2014. The series aired on the bindaas channel. After that he was selected to play the role of Roumil in Colours TV show titled ‘Meri Ashiqui Tumse hi’.

In 2016, Mohsin Khan is reported to have disrupted the shoot of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. He walked into the set and hindered the shoot and did not even come on the sets the next day. His phone was also reportedly switched off.
