Saiyami began her acting career at the age of 19. She was approached by director Y.V.S. Chaudhary for his Telugu language film titled ‘Rey’(2015). Rey ALSO starred Sai Dharam Tej and Shraddha Das in lead roles. The film received mixed reviews from the audiences and critics, though Saiyami was praised for her acting skills.
She was then approached by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra to star in his film titled ‘Mirzya’ (2016) based on the life of Mirza Sahiban. The film also starred Harshvardhan Kapoor. After her selection, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra sent her for an acting course. Saiyami gave 10 auditions before she was selected for this role. The film failed massively at the box office but Saiyami Kher was appreciated for her role.
