Career
The politician started his career as a leader in his college days after that he joined the Trinamool Congress party and elected as the MLA of the Falta constituency for the first time in 2001. After that, he got elected as an MLA from the same constituency for three times.
He also worked in a private company before entering politics. He was very close to the chief minister of West Bengal Mamta Banerjee. He was one of the senior leaders in the party and holds the post of the treasurer in the party since 1998 also he was the chairman of the SBSTC council.

Tamonash Ghosh Death
The Trinamool Congress leader was tested positive for Covid-19 earlier this month and took his last breath on Wednesday 24th of June 2020.
He was admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata where he was admitted for the last two days where he suffered from multi-organ failure and lost his life due to the corona pandemic.
The chief minister Mamta Banerjee and other senior leaders pay their condolence on the death of their party colleague. They pray for the well being of his family and pays their tribute to the senior leader of the party.
