Lake Bell started her career by appearing in the film Speakeasy.
An automobile accident in 2002 launched Bell’s acting career. She has two ER episodes. She’s had prominent roles since 2003. Alicia Silverstone’s performance as Victoria Carlson in Miss Match followed her part in I Love Your Work with Jeff Goldblum.
Bell made her TV debut as Sally Heep in the final four episodes of The Practice after starring in Slammed (2004). In 2005, she left the Boston Legal offshoot. She co-starred with Dustin Hoffman in an Audi commercial parodying The Graduate.
